    Leslie VKP Pilot-Operated Steam Pressure Reducing Valves
Inlet pressure capacity is available to a maximum of 250 psig and the reduced outlet pressure range is 3 to 150 psig. The largest valve in this product family can handle just under 50,000 pounds of saturated steam per hour. VKP bodies are cast iron, seating material is hardened stainless steel, and diaphragms are stainless steel. Interchangeable springs provide setting ranges of 3-20 psig to 20-150 psig. |
Leslie Class VKP steam pressure reducing valves use an adjustable,
spring-controlled integral pilot valve to establish a pressure feedback loop
which controls the main valve. This entirely mechanical principle tends to keep
systems in equilibrium within 90 percent of the set point.
