Leslie
Controls is pleased to announce the availability of VKP pilot-operated steam
pressure reducing valves. The VKP
uses an adjustable, spring controlled integral pilot valve to establish a
pressure feedback loop to control the main valve.
This principal controls steam system pressures within 10 percent of the
set point. The VKP has few
moving parts, a packless construction and springs that are protected from the
flowpath, which make it an economical, low maintenance choice.
The VKP is offered in 1/2" through 4" sizes with ANSI Class ratings of
125 -250. Interchangeable springs
provide setting ranges from 3-20 psig to 20-150 psig.
