KMAX2.jpg (5349 bytes)Leslie Controls, Inc. is pleased to announce the availability of the K-Max Rotary Control Valve. Unique features include the choice of flangeless (wafer) installation, slip-on flanges, or integrally cast flanges. These are universal-application valves with the control characteristics of a globe valve and a straight-through flow path.

The Leslie K-Max Rotary Control Valve is suitable for liquids, gases, steam, and slurries. They have greater than 100:1 rangeability and stable, bi-directional flow. The durable Steel-Case Diaphragm actuator gives high thrust, low friction, accurate control and is much more fire-resistant than aluminum actuators.K-Max Valves have enclosed actuator linkage with gasketed steel covers for safety and corrosion protection instead of snap-in plastic covers found on competitor's valves.

K-Max valves are available in sizes 1" through 8" with ANSI 150-300-600 ratings in Carbon steel, 316 Stainless, Alloy 20, Hastelloy C, and Titanium. Full size trim and three reductions are available in all valve sizes. Leslie supports the K-Max marketed previously through Kieley-Mueller, Dezurik, and IVC with parts and service. K-Max valves are available for quick delivery from Leslie's QD© program in 1-4" wafer, CS or SS bodies.

Leslie Controls, Inc. is a manufacturer of process control valves, on-off valves, regulators, hot water heaters, and railroad whistles.
