DUTIES: Conduct inspections; check completed, in process and/or purchased items to ensure compliance to applicable internal and external specifications as to size, material, composition, and finish following instructions in sampling tables or procedures for first piece, random, and/or one hundred percent inspection.

Make or adjust inspection set-ups. Devise gauging or measurement set-ups or adapt available equipment for special inspection purposes. Prepare and submit inspection reports/records and record of machine manufacture for parts inspected and the resulting disposition or recommendations. Other job related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum two years MECHANICAL INSPECTION experience. Must meet attendance and punctuality requirements for position.

EDUCATION: High School or equivalent

WORK HOURS: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. / Monday to Friday, overtime and Saturdays as required

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Physical effort consists of frequent lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, and standing. Moving average to heavy weights (50 pounds), or expending of equivalent effort of pushing and pulling, using hoist when necessary. Constant alertness and continuous mental and visual attention.
